From the german configurator site, I am guessing TSI350 price around AUD 54K here:
    Comfortline 2.0 TDI 103 kW 7-Gang-DSG 8,2 l/100km 216 g/km 46.850,30 €
    Comfortline 2.0 TDI 132 kW 7-Gang-DSG 8,1 l/100km 214 g/km 50.575,00 €
    Comfortline 2.0 TSI 150 kW 7-Gang-DSG 10,1 l/100km 236 g/km 49.266,00 €

How long before there is solid pricing on the TSI?

Real question for me is what will the economy be like in the real world???

I'd expect to be no worse than the TDI, regardless of what Transporter says ....

My 200+kw TSI Tiguan uses 6.8l/100km on the highway and in the city with my style of driving 11.1l/100km. Our 2011 103TDI Multivan (now with 6300km) uses 7.8l/100km on the highway and in the city with my style of driving 12.2l/100km. I can struggle to get 500km out of a tank sometimes ....

I know from experience that my style of driving sees no real difference in fuel consumption between petrol and diesel (I can easily average 12l/100km in a Golf TDI) in the city and I suspect most won't drive as I do so IMO it would be better than what I get.

So, I'd be expecting to get at most 12l/100km in the city on average ..... and I can live with that ....
