I've got an 09 VW T5 2.5l that is about to hit 60,000km's. The transmission isn't as smooth as when I first bought it, so I was wondering if I should change my ATF. Should I or shouldn't I?

According to the sticky: 7.0L or Penrite SIN ATF
Filled for life (Not available with 4motion)

Does it really require 7L's? Seems like quite a lot!
