    Gordan mate, those spots on the roof still need some more sanding.

    I've got the same thing on my roof of my car. There is still rust there & it'll come back soon if you don't get rid of it entirely.

    unless you used a rust convertor on theose spots. even then, I've taken all the spots on my roof right back to bare metal. Better to be safe than have a rusty roof again in a few years!

    most of them are to the metal but you cant really see in the photo because of the contrast.

    I put port 15 rust ready on it. So it should be all good.

    wow, my golf has a twin, bit less rust on yours tho, mine is starting to rust a bit....hmmmm should get onto that. great stuff.

    Love that Blue, and the roof currently reminds me of my old mk1. Damn rust kills most of these cars.

    finally a updated.

    I folded Jarreds advice and sanding over the rust spots to bear metal. But this time i was using a sanding machine and decided to do everything again.
    I think i did a good job, my old man said it was great and tomorrow were putting it in the garage to put some primer on it. After everything i put rust protection over the rust spots were.
    Also i got some center caps for the steelies.

    btw do you guys reckon im getting better at taking photos?
