everyones opinion will differ on what is firm and not, but i thought they were fine

i actually think their softer than the suspension on my mates brand new golf gti !

ive bought the 25/40mm springs, getting them installed next week

it would be far from any scrub. I myself have 35 55's and decent poke, and I have to really really try to get any scrub

im at stock (sports pack) height with 18x7.5 wrapped in 225/40 and i get light scrub. or would that be more to do with the softer suspension setup as well as a larger overall wheel diameter?

I currently have 18's too. I'd say it's a safe assumption the stock springs and wider rubbers don't help. I'm on 215-35 however

yea a little if you hit a bump at speed but nothing that i'm worried about. i believe it is the driver's side front tyre and touching the plastic inner guard.

    any lower would be nuts

If you ain't scrubbin, you ain't dubbin.

I think he still needs to go 10-15mm lower at the front and 20+ on the rear - that's not low enough. I'm on coils and physically can't go lower on the rear without cutting the springs, and I don't scrub at all - that's on 17's, but the 9N has smaller arches any ways. I'm on 195 40's that helps.
