I filled up for the 1st time today. Average 6.8l/100km.

What is everyones thoughts on the best petrol, I used Caltex Vortex 98 because the Caltex was on the way to where I was going but have BP and Shell also on the way to work.

I use Shell Premium, been using it for years. Only reason I use Shell is because Ferrari uses Shell

Shell V-Power (98 RON) only in mine... Used to use Caltex 98 Premium, but wasn't as readily available around Brisbane as V-Power is...

    BP Ultimate for me.

In other news, I picked up my car from the panel beater today. Door all fixed and ready for coilover and sways sometime in the next couple of weeks.

After years of V-Power decided to try BP Ultimate and have never gone back.
I also understand from a friend who does drift racing that V-Power actually "goes off". It seems the additive has a short shelf life.
For me, the proof was in the pudding.

But I must say fuel economy was better with V-Power though.

Any ideas/Suggestions? i want to steer clear of the GTI look so i guess the first link may be negligable.
