    Shame really, because I was really impressed by the standard Polo's second concealed boot compartment...

    NZ Autocar puts all their test cars on the scales - the result for the 5 door GTI (we don't get 3 doors) was 63.1:36.9. Their Verdict was "Best performance bang for buck ever offered in a $38K car comes in a neatly finished, well-built package".

    PS to my last, just found the TSI test, results 62.4:37.6. They weigh all 4 corners, full tank of fuel. TSI verdict (July 2010) "Our choice. The most sophisticated supermini on the market at present."
