    Glue suggestion

My high level brake light has decided to fall out of the spoiler. Anyone glued one back in? What type of glue would you suggest?

    Cheers,

I'd think silicone would be good since it would be good at keeping water out and also would handle the vibration and movement better than a hard glue.

X2 also loctite 401 is great too sticks almost anything together even your fingers. I used it to stick some LED strips in the lower grills without any problems.

take it back to VW, im pretty sure if you're nice to them they'll do it for free!

I did take my old car, toyota echo, to O'brian, my rear view mirror fell off, and i asked them if they can stick it back, and in the end they said "all good mate! all free!" was shocked....

    Thanks for the suggestions guys.

I have siliconed it back into place, so will see whether or not it stays there.

The brake light is held into the spoiler with two screws from the back of the spoiler. So if one falls out you can't put it back without removing the spoiler, which is glued to the damn car... stupid design
