APR downpipe cross miltek or remus or ???

Hey guys, just wondering if anyone's experimented with exhaust notes or options for a more desirable one asides from the droning sound you get with the APR down pipe with stock exhaust? Any suggestions or experiences would be great. Just don't know which way to go right now. Getting bored and occasionally annoyed with the droning. Want something sportier and hopefully quieter (inside the cabin anyways).

I have got the apr down pipe and i dont experience that drone or strange resonating sound descript by petrinapolo. i also custom made middle pipe with titanium muffler at the end, it it loud outside, but due to the sound proof of the car is so well, the cabin noise is not that loud!

I am going to experiment the remus rear muffler later as i found someone selling them real cheap on ebay (about 350 for a universal one)!

i got the apr downpipe too. initially i found the drone a little uncomfortable but then i discovered the little knob on the stereo cab drown out the noise

HKOGTI where u get your intermediate pipe done? i'm think of removing the resonator

Yeah that's what I did but need it to be quieter without music to drown it out. Want wifey to drive the car and she's keen too but she hates the loudness of it so she's been avoiding it. Going to go talk to some miltek and remus distributors and see what's the best option. Hope it works out well.

i talked to a apr dealer in syd and he said that the apr downpipe has a reducer from the 2.5" to 2" so it can bolt straight onto the original catback. so if you do end up going for a full 2.5" you'd have to chop that little reducer and fit a connecting sleeve or weld it together

Hey Dave if quiet is what you are after I dont think you should be looking at the Miltek. Awesome deep bassy growl to it that is much louder than the APR exhaust. Put it this way - Imagine if it was possible to strap a subwoofer to your existing exhaust and that pretty much sums up how much louder and deeper the Miltek is. Also if you've done your intake mods this adds a considerable amount of noise to the exhaust as well.

If you don't mind my asking, how much did the Miltek set you back? Just wanna get an idea vs. say.... a custom exhaust.

The exhaust from Remus is just the rear section, it is quiter then the milltek non resonated system.
