Hey people i wanna find a good mechanic that wants too work on my golf in the Newcastle- Central coast area.

I wanna start to modify my Gti but the trouble i'm having at the moment with all the places i've been around newcastle is that they don't really know much about the late model VW's. Which means they arn't confident and cant really offer me the best service and advice possible.

Just wondering wheather there is any good local mechanics around with a enfisis in performance
I may consider traveling to sydney, but thats gonna be a very last resort
