Took this shot down the coast last weekend, have scaled it to iphone4 size..

FYI, Have upgraded it to APR stage 2, and put 2 sets of polk audio 6.5" splits in which sound EPIC!, Two amps and sub in the boot to top it off,, am considering a fuel pump but need to do a bit more research,, enjoy!

Mate can you please post some pics of your sound system setup? In particular your amp/sub setup. I'm planning on putting a whole new setup in mine, thinking a couple of sets of boston's with a 12" JL in the boot running off a couple of the Alpine PDX amps.

How does it sound in the hatch? Did you dynamat the car? Any rattles?

Sorry for all the questions but you are the first person I have come across who has put an aftermaket sound system in the R and I'm really interested to see how it is...

**** you make my colour choice harder... i was discussing with the missus yesterday which one i shouls go for. she hates white, i reckon it looks awesome with the wheels. havent put pen to paper yet, been snowed under with work myself.

also keen to see audio upgrade on it.

is there anyone in nsw who has one with dsg and acc who could take me for a drive n show me the differences?

Hey mate, yeah I hadn't seen much info on it either so I thought it was worth chucking out there, glad I did!, What you want to do is pretty much what I've done, got each amp attached to the back of the rear seats. Seats can still fold down. Sub is detachable via a plug. Sound deadening in doors. Coustic amp driving a kicker sub, and a JL amp running the Polk splits in the car.. It's a similar setup to what I had in my old Lancer (which I moved to this car),, but sounds about 100x better now due to the quality of the car, everything used to rattle in the lancer,, now I just get bass the vibrates my brain without a single rattle,, it's amazing! Also, have hard wired my $100 TomTom, so no more cig lighter power,, better than $3k on a sat nav system!,, Maybe I'll have to start a new thread or something to show the pics, will let you know when I get around to taking some shots,,

Yeah - ACC is cool...
But we're not all old people who think that the Golf with low profiles is a harsh ride

I would say that if you are getting the ACC because of the fact it has a "comfort" and "sports" button, then you're missing the point

I think Corey you are creating the point, it is a suspension mod which if you have a choice about is a great upgrade..
