Looks like I chose the wrong dealer. Rang them today and they tell me about all these R's being delivered but no word on mine. If they spent less time trying to sell me parking sensors instead of working out the difference between their arse and heads they might have a clue.

Hahahaha Dave I got that call today as well regarding all the pre-delivery crap.. She told me about the rear parking sensors and I started laughing lol..

Also, spotted a 3 door candy white R with black 19s and sunroof driving down Heidelberg rd at around 11.30 this morning.. Almost snapped my neck looking at it lol.. Could that be anyone from this forum?

New addition to the family today.

I picked up a white golf 118TSI with sports pack and ACC. Drives so much better than the old 2nd chariot and it's pretty nippy, all things considered.

Speaking of spotted, saw a 5dr silver R coming out of doncaster shoppingtown this morning. Sorry to say but if 5dr wasn't bad enough, silver is just oh so boring. If it wasn't for the wheels, I don't think I'd have even noticed it! Though he was probably looking at me thinking, look at that poor bastard in his old ****box haha

Just had a call to say delivery has been delayed from 1pm to 3pm because the truck is arriving later from their pre-delivery place. Oh the agony.....

Dealer just emailed me. My R, which was ordered on the 13th of August now has now been allocated a production date of week 5 = Feb 2011.

Bad news is that delivery has been pushed out to May . Could have made a baby in that time.

Dealer rang earlier toaday and my GTi will be ready on Tuesday afternoon..
Lakin plates organised via dealer fit and OEM plate adapter removed free of charge..

Updated the pic thread (link). There was a white and a black 5dr waiting to be collected. White one had to wait for finance but the black one has apparently been sitting there for a couple days waiting to be picked up. For shame!!!
