    Noise when driving over bumps

    Hi Guys,

Last night I turn off the radio and drove for good hour and noticed some noise from rear or the passenger side. It sounds like two coins scratching together in high pitch noise when I drove some bumps. It only happens when I drove over the bumps or uneven roads. My friend say he has this problem with MK V and it is the back seats where it is not properly cllick on and he have to put some paper or carboards in the rear seats to stop the noise.

Just wondering if anyone out there has the same problem??

First of you need to identify where the problem is. Start by folding the back seats down and so on and so froth until you find where the noise is coming from.

I have noticed similar thing exactly what you described especially when ACC switched on sport mode...I couldn't tell if it is passenger side or back seat....

Is it definitely coming from the inside of the vehicle? I had the same issue with my front left wheel and it turns out it was the brake bad clicking against the caliper as a clip had broken off.
