If it is valve seals, oil would be on the spark plugs as well - just another indicator.

Thanks for the info guys, I have a mk6R STAGE 2+ and recently started seeing blue smoke after I have come down a hill off throttle and then when pulling away slowly there is a huge ball of blue smoke. When I drive more aggressively there is no blue smoke at all. Maybe black smoke when I thrash it after some nice driving. But that's normal from what I understand. Blue though... Valve stem seals?? Or do I need a catch can?
