Issues with RN510

Next question.. I am trying to get the MDI to shuffle the songs on my iTouch.. I enable MIX but it doesn't appear to do it for the whole library and I am trying to see if it is just doing it for the 1 playlist only.. any tips

From the top menu, hit the PLAY button next to the SONGS menu item - this will play all songs on your ipod touch, iphone etc. Then select MIX to shuffle all songs.

Has anyone got a HTC Desire with the RCD510? I've got the standard dealer fit bluetooth so I can receive phone calls fine but if I press the Phone button on the 510 all it does is mute the radio, I get no phonebook option or dial option. Bluetooth audio is working. Can anyone assist? I've looked at the manual but it doesn't help.

I've got a desire paired to my RCD510. My dealer set it up when I picked up the car. Maybe try pairing it again? I can get my phonebook and dialing option etc.

But then my bluetooth came from the factory and not the dealer. Maybe that will make a difference?

yeah I'm thinking that the dealer fit Bluetooth is no good, I will contact them tomorrow to see what the deal is.

Dealer says that some phones don't work so well with the Bluetooth kit. My wifes iPhone 4 doesn't show the phone book either. Has anyone successfully got the dealer fit Bluetooth to show the phone book on the RCD510?

Simply the Dealer fitted bluetooth if Genuine will only answer and hang up calls as well as audio stream.. Factory fitted Bluetooth allows phone book.. it works with HTC Blackberry I phone Nokia Etc Etc .. Please Guys make sure you know what system is fitted. I hope the selling dealer can explain this to you.. I hope you were not mislead.

I also use the SD card for music and on MIX I find it will only play the first 50 or so songs before repeating them. If I start it off at say song 150 on the list and hit MIX it will play that song and will then go back to the first 50.

Anybody else find this? - or have a solution?

The only way I can work around this is to develop several playlists all shuffled so I get the songs in different orders.

I noticed this with the iTouch.. was going to ask the same question.. also I note it starts each song with the first bar then pauses then kicks in.. any idea what that is..?
