Mate with 'free' on roads the discount is pretty flimsy, unless you take them into account for the overall price. What it comes down to is how much you want to pay and how badly you want the car.

I'm pretty new here, not very knowledgeable by any measure compared to some of the dubbers here, where I've read up and developed my limited knowledge.

Time to get that car and start smiling i think

Interesting - i've got my 90TSI as mentioned in the signature for about the same (true, i do have reverse sensors attached) - and I wanted Candy White too but they didn't have any in stock on 31/12 (when they were doing no on roads/delivery, etc) ... mind you, I am not part of APESMA, so how would that work if i had've walked up to them and said "APESMA" ?

And, is it a demonstrator or new ? When did you purchase ? I had to go before 31/12 due to the tax break.

No difference really.. I mentioned it early on and they took 8% off and reduced the asking price to $34k... then the manager came out and they started going over the January arrivals... there was a candy white on the list that I liked, so I then spent 30 minutes grinding them down on price from that point and getting them to throw in car mats.

    2010 Golf Mk6 GTi
    White
    DSG
    Sunroof

I tried to squeeze, but he said that don't expect thousands off when im ready to buy.

Is this an good deal? If not, what would be a more realistic price?
