The interior as has been said, is a big step down. However it was not AS BAD as I thought it would be.

The biggest problem I had was with the ride, engine and gearbox. It is a DSG box, but omg... its so rough! The ride felt not as solid as the GTI. Its hard to describe. It has a firm setup, but you feel disconnected from the car.

And the engine sounds pretty average.

So all in all. You do get alot of kit for your money. But Im going to be sticking with my GTI.


Now I just need to wait for the dealer to call me.... it arrived a week ago today...

You're very charitable. When my wife and I test drove it, we got out and the sales rep came over and asked us what we thought, my wife just turned away and pretended to be looking at something leaving me to try to come up with something nice to say about it - the best I could manage was 'its a nice colour'
