Yes, several times with several nil results. As a normally helpful person why don't you just post the link?

Just do a search in the box top right for "High oil consumption" I got 11 pages of threads with that in them

Most forum search functions won't accept terms that have 3 or less characters, such as "oil", "118" or "tsi".

To overcome this limit, it would be better to search the forum using Google, by typing this into the search bar:

site:vwwatercooled.com.au 118 tsi oil consumption

The "site:" function limits the search to a particular website or domain.

Also look through the Polo 6R section, as the Polo GTI uses broadly the same engine (albeit in a higher state of tune), and is known for high oil consumption.
