5 speed gearbox for MK2 or MK1

My gearbox is making nasty noises so I need another one for my MK2. A 5 speed from a MK1 is the same so if anyone has one for sale let me know.

Depends on your timeframe mate, im putting VR6 into mines so ill have a gearbox available but it does have a bad 2nd sycro like most have.

I need a gearbox ASAP as it's my daily. 2nd gear is great but it's making scraping sounds on trailing throttle.

I'll probably put it back into the car and nurse it for a week while I find a good box.

Thanks guys, I got one but it was a nightmare to fit - Bought a MK2 GTI

At least now I know how to fit a gearbox in my sleep!
