Not sure on oil spec, my spare oil is sitting on my office at work for the first oil chance. Dealer should top it up at no cost if they aren't a bunch of pricks like some are.
Have a Passat V6 whose low engine oil light is on. I assume this is normal as long as there is no obvious leaks, but I can't find out about which engine oil to top it up with. Do I have to take it back to the dealer just to top up the oil? Help/Advice would be appreciated

Presumably a 504-507 grade like Castrol Edge Prof 3 longlife 5w-30 or Penrite Enviro+ 5w-30 Which is $69 for 5 L at Supercheap ATM
