Very common failure.
If it's under warranty get it replaced.
Harware revision 51 and above on the screens are better, but still not immune to this issue.
Yeah the running the AC for a while before getting in is as good a reason as heating up a frozen car.
Given we no longer make cars here it's likely the rules will have to continue to harmonize with...
A couple of issues (apart from legalities, I'm not sure it's road legal here, might want to check) - US remotes operate on a different frequency to RoW so those remotes won't be able to be paired...
Need to check the fault code from the AFS module address 55. It will tell you what the issue is.
Probably
Unfortunately the RNS510 aren't the fastest infotainment systems as far as boot time is concerned.
Which is why they don't immediately turn off when you turn the car off. In case you turn it back...
No it won't do it by itself. Someone would have had to have done it.
The immobilizer is in the cluster. It's not just 'coding'.
There is a whole lot of work required including online with VW servers.
And VW have also blocked the installation of used immobilizer...
I suspect the RVC module has failed at some point, so it has been coded out in 10 PDC and 37 Navigation.

Bws swap it

If we'd gotten the full-fat Arteon Shooting brake R here I would be looking at it as an upgrade (for the Octavia of course, not the R36).
Given we got short changed on that front I'd probably look...
You're going from a PD to a common rail there. So you'd need the ECU for a start, that would either need to be made immo off, or immo matched to your CCM.
Then you'll need all the engine side...
Wagon doesn't have a flip motor, it's a static handle camera.
But you're right all the camera wiring goes to the highline control module in the boot.
That coding should be correct.
Try setting coding to all 000000.
Cycle ign then set it back to 0001439.
else try 0001405
If clutches were replaced then basic settings should have been performed which runs an adaptation routine to adjust the transmission to the new parts.
If this wasn't done then it needs to be.
Send me your VIN via PM I can check what it's factory config was.
If it has a factory camera and it's not working then you'll need to start looking at fuses, wiring etc.
I'm always terrible with photos and videos etc
I strongly encourage people to document their journeys so that others feel confident enough to try things themselves.
Go for it!
If you need any help...
That seems a bit unusual.
The coding is correct.
Try setting coding to 0000000, save, then cycle ign and set coding back to 0001439.
For your rear lights they have an electrical fault. Start with...
You can run radar static calibration via basic settings in VCDS.
Need to enter the Security Access code first, and car has to be 1.5m away from a wall or similar solid object.
2016 could be either an rns510/rcd510 or an mib2 pq depending when it was produced.
Need either a pic of the unit or your vin to look it up, or info from a suitable diagnostics tool like vcds, obd11...
Post the full autoscan here to be sure.
But it's likely to be 0001439.
Airbag control module has Component Protection.
It needs to be handled by the dealer tool ODIS.
You can't just replace the module with another one.
DSG shifts are faster in sport mode as well as at different shift points.
