    You should upgrade to the MK1 GTI front brakes....

    You should upgrade to the MK1 GTI front brakes. Ventilated disks and the pads are twice the size. Gives you much better stopping power.

    Definitely go LED. Very easy conversion (they just plug in) and will work down to 9v so you just have to boost the original 1970's wiring by 8v to get them to work. :)
