Sorry, not really at this stage.
Unless I have 4 buyers :)
Genuine 19inch Golf R rims with tyres to suit Golfs
Please note that all 4 rims are scratched, some worse than others. Tyres are road worthy 2x approx 80% tread and 2x 50%.
Selling as I've...
320-380kms city driving.
Thanks for the feedback. Saved me some $$$
I'm getting ready for the next stage of mods and am looking at a downpipe. Is it worth getting the pipe ceramic coated or am I just wasting my money?
I've had my Alltrack since January last year and haven't experienced any of these issues. Apart from the slow system start up when the car has been turned off for more than 15 minutes.
I'd suggest...
Will the adaptive chassis control function still work with this kit?
Welcome Pete.
You'll be smiling ear to ear when you get the R but be careful, there's a mod bug lurking around here.
Nice!
How much does the set up weigh? I'm tossing up between the TTRS setup and the VWRacing.
Not at all.
I thought about getting the rims made black but I'm still in two minds about it. (It's not a go fast option so in my books not a priority).
Enjoy the car!
What options does it have?
I've got Leather seats, Sunroof, DSG, 19" Talladegas, Black Headlights, Dynaudio, ACC (Adaptive Chassis Control), Sat Nav
Welcome!
I'm sure you're enjoying the R. What options/specs is the car?
Both times this has happened its been going from 1st to 2nd with the steering turned. I wonder if loss of traction in the front wheels my be contributing to this.
Has anyone with a Golf R or GTI notice there car bounce off the limiter before it changes to the next gear when WOT?
Is this normal? I've notice this happen a few times in my R when in D and going...
Exactly what volksMuller said (I'm assuming this is Steve?)
You need to service the gearbox just like you would for the engine. At 85K kms I'm guessing it just needs a service.
My Brother's '08...
Try TC off first then into sports mode. That's the correct procedure according to the user manual. Then foot hard on the brake and feed to power
Welcome and don't worry, you'll be fine.
I've had my Alltrack for 16 months now and it's still going strong. I'll be sure to keep you updated if anything changes.
Hi Dom,
Is the price negotiable and are you willing to sell the body separately?
My air con smelt like old socks. I changed the filter and used autoglym's aircon sanitizer and the car smells perfect.
Cost;
Filter from Amazon $15 + postage
Autoglym Aircon Sanitizer about $22...
It's a little firmer but they don't find in uncomfortable and they went up from 17 to 19 inch.
