I've found that Oomph Remover works best for removing adhesive ... then follow up with isopropyl alcohol to clean up afterwards.

If condensation is forming on the inside of your headlight then moisture must be entering somewhere for this to occur ... most likely a damaged seal.
I'm no expert but doesn't the 'bounce' test give you a good indication of the condition of your shock absorbers? :confused:
