I set mine to manual and set the time to the current time. There is no Sydney/Melbourne time zone, which seems like a ****ty omission. It's not like time zones are hard to get right.
Mine also eventually went backwards. I assume it's because I'm in Sydney, and it doesn't have a time zone for us.
It "automatically" detects that we are in the Japan/Korea time zone.
When my salesperson keyed in the $600 "discount code" it added $2k to the price. He said something was broken with the quoting system.
Since your car is 6+ years old the paint won't look like new, and the paint will fade on cars at different rates based on exposure to the sun, parking, wind, snow, dust, proximity to the ocean etc....
Unless you have a manual, keep in mind you're not supposed to coast the DSG gearbox in Neutral.
Whatever you do, don't buy new from the dealer - their prices are extortionate.
I got spares made from a local guy off ebay - half the price - using Chinese VW parts
Was there a lot of water? Was your air con on at the time?
Nice comfy seats, no adjustable lumbar on the standard GTI <2013
Did the indicators flash like hazard lights, or did they just turn on? When this happened, were the brake lights also on?
What happened when they used the indicators?
Did the reverse light come on?
As far as I know, WFI are still being run through separate contact centres to the NRMA Insurance brand. Coles Insurance effectively becomes IAG's budget brand, replacing their less-than-memorable...
$917 with NRMA, including windscreen replacement
34m w/ 27f, 2 claims in last 5 years, Garaged, (40% lifetime no claim bonus) many policies (parents car, my car, my bike, parents and my contents)...
Somewhere online there is a mod where a guy added a GTI switch to his dash panel and it enables/disables the sound actuator (by powering it on and off at the hardware)
The button looks good, but...
As Gav said, Volkswagen state that ethanol isn't suitable. If I recall, my Polo has it in the manual and possibly even in the fuel cap door. In any event, it's on the VGA Website. Made up words and...
I told my wife not to fill up at United for this very reason.
I think what you saw was United E85 - 105 Octane.
E10, E85 - the number is the percentage of Ethanol content.
Not worth the money in my opinion, particularly when you get sales spiels like the above. "Bring your car in every three months" sounds like a way to get money out of you every three months, as well...
Here. But if Don is right, it wont help.
I dont remember what the thread was, but it had to do with the voice control button
These say they are ADR compliant (but to check state regs) Not sure how plug and play they are for the Polo GTI as it has standard H7 bulbs that slot in to a caddy. The caddy then twists into the...
If it's similar to the 2012.5 version it can be enabled/disabled, and there are instructions for disabling it in the VCDS forum.
There's a voice command button on the steering wheel, which I had...
I had a loaner from my dealer with this in it. **** me to tears. I'd be disabling it permanently if I end up with it in a new car.
How does it impact the battery/starter if it's constantly kicking...
Sounds like it could be Bluetooth congestion, not necessarily related to the VW receiver.
Are your phones all paired to the MFD?
Also check if you are streaming songs off the internet - I've had...
I'm not sure for recent models, but it used to need a re-code.
Have a trawl through other forum posts to see if there are recommendations (I seem to recall there are, but cant quickly find them)
Ebay has some for <$10 but buyer beware.
I wonder how easily these headlight assemblies would be retrofitted to previous Polos.
Could be a cheaper option than HID retrofits
I think you'll find a lot of people are more interested in the comparison between halogens and LEDs as opposed to HID - I'm sure OP only mentions HID as there are no ADRs really covering the use of...
