Amazing job.
Where did you get your custom bell housing from?
Hmm ok. Add $200ph dealer labour and 10% GST and that should give you the total cost.
Interesting, those parts prices are surprisingly reasonable.
Do you know what the labour hours might be?
At your kilometres I would expect the clutch packs to be well worn and probably in need of replacement.
The DSG can be reset through VCDS
How many KM's on your car?
Keep in mind that this is one of the earlier DSG's. They were a very new concept at the time.
I'm only guessing here but clutch pack would probably be a few...
I'd say its probably not the mounts or bushings. It's possibly the clutch pack inside the transmission. A faulty mechatronic unit can also cause jerky behaviour.
Just wanted to post back and say I inspected the radar unit, reseated it and cleaned the connector a few months ago and have had no problems since.
I had to remove the silver grill - bumper...
Thanks. I was planning on removing the grill tomorrow but I went on a long drive today (~200km) and the cruise control worked flawlessly.
I remember now that the radar cruise stopped...
I was going to give that a shot but it seems the front bumper has to come off to access the radar connector. Is that correct?

My apologies. I only saved that bit. I will do a full scan this afternoon and post the result.
The issue disappears after ignition restart and recurs after ~1-10km.
Hey guys,
today the ACC in my VW CC stopped working.
It gives ACC Error! on the dash, together with an exclamation mark.
I checked with VCDS and it gives the following:
Any idea what's...
Hey guys,
My Passat CC V6 is alerting me that it needs a scheduled service.
However the vehicle was serviced about 10,000km (5 months) ago and the service indicator was reset at the time using...
I installed the Topran EPB switch yesterday. It works really well. I’m very happy. No further faults.
With the original and also the AliExpress switch I was getting both switch and module faults....
It seems like the replacement part for sensor one is 3c0919673A
Does anyone know if this is the same as 3c0919673?
Ok just got some readings on a full fuel tank via VCDS
Sender 2 30 ohms (replaced)
Sender 1 260 ohms (original)
Seems like sender 1 has also crapped out? Is that possible?
Got the sensor replaced and now my fuel tank is no longer reading full. Gets to about 5/8th and stops.
My mechanic isn't sure what's going on.
Any ideas?
I've ordered the Topran switch. I'll let you know how it goes.
Just wanted to mention, I had the same problem and tried an ebay cheapie switch ($6)
Didn't work. Has the part number 3C0927225C but eventually gives an error.
The fake switch has noticeably more...
No. The CC are either four or five seaters depending on year.
Power and torque levels are the same, I'm not aware of any differences in tune.
Yeah the Golf's seem to hold their value much much better. I don't know why. They were cheaper to purchase new but much more expensive used.
From the specs the HP should be identical (296hp)...
I agree with what's suggested above.
When I was hunting I realised that the Passat CC 3.6 was much better value for what is essentially the same vehicle.
Significantly better factory inclusions...
Interestingly on ABC 'The Money' with Richard Aedy, it was discussed that the current business model of many car manufacturers in Australia is to charge approx 20 times cost for spare parts (i.e....
