It is possible but easier and quicker to take it off. Also you can make sure the tube to the cooler goes in properly and it sits flat on the block.
Why not pop on a Toyota supercharger, just have to make up a bracket to mount it and no exhaust to worry about. I put one on the Corrado after the 2nd G-Lader blew up and it works great. You could...
APR never did flash tuning on cars with drive by cable. We used to send the ecu to have a chip fitted.
Standard Passat issue, especially when going over a bump in the road.
Sounds like the reverse solenoid playing up. You can buy them from o/s but VW will only do the complete meca unit.
Ive been running on my Rocco for years and its is well suited to FWD cars as well as 4 motion
Sorry, only the dodgy ones offer EGR and DPF deletes.
Have you had a flat battery? These Passats usually needed a throttlebody alignment after a battery change.
We have done many tunes for the SQ5 with APR and it turns a great car into an awesome torque monster.Every owner has drive away with a huge smile.
The FSI engines with an air pump all idle fast for upto around 50 sec when cold so the cats can light off with the extra oxygen and fuel thats dumped in the engine and exhaust.
Ring Tooleys or Imparts
That'll probably be the dual mass flywheel if it changes with clutch pedal.
Is it a 6 speed or a 7 speed? 6 speed wet clutch require service every 60K.7 speed dry clutch does not unless you want to change the gear oil. Mechatronics is essentially sealed and oil not changed.
Changing oil earlier than 12 months or 15K is a waste of time and money. The oils are so good these days that they are probably good for over 30k.Unless you live in the outback sucking in bulldust...
You could get the immob removed and as long as its the same part number it'll wor fine.
I do have one but no horn button.
I don't think a tranverse gearbox will fit in a Passat but A4 manual gearboxes from a front drive 4 cylinder will with a bit of modification.(boxster gearbox are the same, early 2.5 ones are good).
Depends on load and temp but when you get wheel spin the boost falls off.
Maybe try the VWRacing Line tune.I have it on my Rocco(st 2) and first and second gear is not so aggressive but third is just torque city.
I hope you realise that the engine that is going into the Golf R cannot be older than the car, it must be the same age or newer to meet emission standards if it is ever to be properly registered....
Just remember everything is the same as other 1.8T's but the Polo used a different water pump.
Don't troll, just an active forum member. And still no bites?
Get a good used one with warranty, plenty of cars being parted these days.
Come for a short drive to Newcastle and I'll sort it all out. I even have a loan car for for the day. Pete
