A work colleague got one yesterday and that's the first thing I noticed. Looks terrible and cheap. I thought there was a premium 8inch system or something that gave you the good quality screen?

I get the A45 on Saturday :)
Now to get rid of the Polo......!
Hopefully before Xmas.....! Gone Mountain Grey with the black rims! Sweet (and stupidly quickly) ride!
I've done it.
A45 here I come!!!!!!
Howdy All. Found a lump in the side wall of my front right tyre this weekend. Thinking it's going to need to be replaced.
Any suggestions on where I should go and what brand? I don't want to...
I had the update done ages ago and it was ok. Now the gremlins are coming back - it's been way wacky the last week or two. Getting gears confused and crunching gears more often.
Even had it drop...
I've been doing my own little consumption tests based on driving styles. I've had the pipe and consumption tests but always comes back around the above figure too.
I've found that the harder you...
When they replaced mine for the third time (via a whole new DSG) they kept the car and drove it for the 100-200kms so they could get the gears right.
the problem is when they fix it and you drive...
What type of driving do you do (city, highway, both) etc??
Looks like it's happening. Mine is in that range but guess I'm fine since I've had a whole new DSG put in
Outcry on safety forces VW recall
It's the TSI engine 'cold start'. Can be quite slow until it gets a bit of warmth in it!!!!!!!!
Without going back over the 138 pages - is there a solution for a squeaky drivers seat. It's driving me completely mental. Hit a bump and it squeaks, turn a corner and it squeaks, accelerate and it...
Surely that will just be a VCDS thing you can switch around?
Whaaaaaaaat??????
Yep - completely agree with you here. During my oil consumption test I drove the car harder and in M most of the time and consumption went down and soot on the back was less.
I keep being told that is the cure! I push it hard on my consumption test and it hardly used any. Might be true
Engine rebuild you mean????
So have been thinking about the comments made in the second article. Japan is blaming their hot weather.
I wonder if Ulrich Hackenberg could answer why my DSG got up to an operating temperature...
The line I liked is that they do EVERYTHING for their customers to fix the issues. Pfffffffft
And Japan has jumped on the band(volks)wagon
Volkswagen recall extended
Was told today that you get more soot on the back if you drive like Miss Daisy as it doesn't get a chance to get blown away. Cause the cars are meant to be driven hard, if you do push them a little...
Consumption test done - only used 300ml in 1,000kms. So I guess that does prove the brand of oil you use does mean different figures for consumption.
Was using Liqui Moly and it was well above...
Pretty normal mate
They run rich - if you give it a squirt - expect some black smoke clouds here and there
Is that the most recent update for the DSG? Like a few weeks old? 1st and 2nd are really different now - I'm not a fan of it
