You have to laugh:
Looking at tyres and came across contisportcontact 6 R01 for $295 and contisportcontact 6 M01 for $375. Same tyres but one is standard for Audi and the other for Mercedes :lol:
Seems you're right on both counts :)
Ended up with going Ecotune Stage 1 and resi delete this morning. Only a short drive home, but it packs much more mid-range.
See I speak from experience when I say things escalate quickly :lol:
Have messaged A1 performance about ecotune and Tarmac about spectune
Are APR still the go-to for stage 1 tunes for the 7.5 R? Anyone with long term experience?
Seems good value at $999 - yes I could/should go custom but I told myself I wouldn't get carried away...
Thanks
It appears the "Grid edition" cars did not have a digital dash (also had a different infotainment screen and black mirrors);
Regular Rs and Wolfies got the digital dash;
Regular Rs are...

Digging up an old thread - looking at getting back in a VAG, specifically a 7.5R, after trading my Mk6 GTI for a family car a number of years ago.

Got the Whiteline ALK (part # KCA316) fitted yesterday by Heasemans.
Apparently there are 2 settings; street and race. We opted for the race, which along with a wheel alignment has improved...
Alternatively you can remove the rear muffler which is common on golfs (same engine)
Thanks mate. Booking it in for next week :)
how many hours labour typically to fit whiteline ALK? (not including alighnment)
Thanks again - yep supaloy includes ALK. Almost triple the price and more labour involved though especially in a DSG car (need to drop the subframe to clear the 'box). But i'l lkeep it in mind...it...
Thanks Brad
Is a wheel alignment required when changing sways and/or adding ALK?
This setup was suggested on Pedders’ website and on a Whiteline youtube vid:
