First time mine did the clunk I thought someone had tapped me from behind.
Now it is just normal.
VW speedos run 10% fast so when it says 100kmh you will be doing 90kmh.
I fitted 10% greater diameter tyres to my 2014 to counter that difference.
Had to remove the thermostat again as it was leaking.
It turned out I had nipped the o-ring seal in 2 places when pressing it into the block.
Second time around it was a lot easy and less stressful...
As no one else seems to have done this I will post my thoughts on the job I did today.
