I’m not sure by fitting a non valve Mk 7 exhaust you are achieving anything? Unless it’s an after market R exhaust that does physically doesn’t have the bi modal function???
I’m pretty sure on eBay Ive seen a bracket that bolts onto the actuator mounts and clocks in to valve “key way” to lock them open Audi/VW. Or ask the exhaust shop to spot weld them open when they fit...

The ability to control the exhaust noise from inside the cabin, if you don't have the motors just make sure the exhaust flaps are fixed in the open position.

Finally got my new GFB diverter valve & fitted it, very simple job 15mins.
Interesting how much its changed the delivery of power with my bigger turbo & tune (the std valve must have been leaking)....
Your right, just spoke to GFB the complete diverter valve is not on sale yet, due early 2023. MCM got the prototype.

Amazing, more hp across the whole range but from 3000rpm onwards its starts to really starts to haul. Totally different car, Dyno recorded 200kW at the wheels (a big wheel & tyre compared to a Golf)...
Fitted my new IS38 turbo over the weekend, what a mission that was!
Just been out driving it, the upgrade is amazing.
The mid range is impressive, can’t wait to book it in for the tune.
So swapped the output to 87A pin on my 3rd relay & defaults to close.
