You need a good quality scanner and see what the fault codes are. Otherwise you are are just playing spare parts lottery.
I think Supercheap will scan it for a fee, also Racq can scan it for you.

No one has replied, but as Lucas said it’s almost certainly the egr. Delete and blank it off. I believe that you need software intervention for this option.

Where in QLD are you? I can highly recommend Coolum motors, I probably wouldn’t get a tune without the dpf delete. I’m sure it would work, but the dpf and egr are the Amarok’s Achilles heel.
