I found the function you are talking about, the same part numbers are used in various cars including Touran, Passat, A3 etc with varying transmission codes (KPS, LQT, KMW). Its hard to know which are...
I'd be interested to know what you think about this.. These are the PDF print outs from ETKA for my vehicle. If you look at the gearbox sheet you will see my transmission, KDA with a listed part...
Yeah the Passat apparently has the same gearbox and mechatronics code. I'm guessing the 125kw Jetta has the same too.
Really? The shop told me the mechatronics need to be coded to match the engine. You reckon the mechatronics from a GTI could be coded to match? Do you reckon the GTI box is designed to handle the...
The actual box is screwed, and they said the metal in the oil would have went through the mechatronics and wrecked that too.
Yeah oil was changed on time. I don't think they really pulled the...
Yeah righto, I'll let you know. I wonder whether the Custom Code DSG tune had anything to do with it.. There was always something funny about my box before that though..
Does anyone have a GT Sport with a KMW transmission code? I'm in the market for a second hand box and it seems like KMW is an equivalent to my KDA.
Box itself mate with mechatronics, apparently there is metal all through the DSG oil and they can't reuse the old mechatronics.
I believe KMW is an equivalent transmission code, part numbers are...
DSG has **** itself.. In the market for a second hand / reco one. If anyone has one or has seen one can you let me know? Thanks.
I'm fairly sure a sizeable percentage of the Vortex diesel around Newcastle is (at least was) bio.
Suzuki Gladius (LAMS).. I'll post a pic up when in a week or so when I've got some bits painted.
Yeah man send me a text. I haven't changed numbers. I dont frequent on here as much as I used to, I have stopped modifying my car haha. I have a bike now so thats where my attention is but I still...
Man why do I always miss these...
Might come along for a Sunday morning.
 They look very plain on a Google search, got a photo of a pimping one?
What got you so keen for one?
If you dont know you can also read VAG specific block info using Torque pro, its not extremely easy to setup though and you need a different adapter to the de facto ELM327.
Nope. Dead give aways are revving higher than normal before changing gears in a DSG and higher idle rpm.
Did she say anything about it being a recall on the injectors, I have only seen news items referencing the 7-speed DSG. Also how will they know second hand owners addresses..?
I had a ride in DkNs car and it definitely blew a **** load of smoke but I believe he got that fixed. A good tune should never blow that much smoke, there is a smoke limiter map in the ECU which...
Glad they are looking after you, I've found them to be pretty damn good!
It stops the ECU from trying to initiate a DPF regen yes, you have to be careful to get it right as a lot of tuning places dont know how to do the Siemens PPD correctly. I'd recommend you contact a...
I bought one from Darkside Developments - Home for about $500.
Same car.
BTW I dont believe someone has made a single mass version for the DSG so dont bother looking.
Yes you are right they tip over easily, as Gav said they are known as "widowmaker" jacks. I know what you mean about scraping your knuckles too.
Yeah ELM327 work with any (well almost any) OBD2 compatible car.. VAG Blocks wont though, use a generic OBD app for that.
