Just recieved the replacement resistor #7L0907521B and installed
It fixed the problem, thanks to Ebay seller parts_au for an excellent quality replica

The factory part is $330.00...

An update on the blower fault-

I sourced and fitted a second hand fan motor which did not remedy the fault, the fault was the same as the original fan
The fan keeps running after the ignition is...
