When the time comes to sign some sort of 'clearance' from VW, be very sure of what is in it.
They may insert that you cannot at any time make a similar claim on VW in the future....on any vehicle....

Ripper thanks for that mate.
Gooday all....
Where am I going to find the oil pressure switch on my '09 2.5 BJK ?
Bugga............ :0
Fair enough, if that setup suits your application, great ;-)
I do admire your keenness, but wouldn't it be an easier and just as effective job to lay an MDF sheet over the floor rather than cut individual slats and drill the floor ?
My 09 80kw is setup for a motorhome with a total weight of 3.5t.
It had 280,000kl on when I bought it 12mths ago, it now has 310,00 and has traveled the width of Australia, Melb-Perth-Melb twice...
Great to see another problem solved.
I've saved this to the memory banks in case it crops up for me later on.
What mileage does your Crafter have ?
Yep, I think I'd be starting from scratch to avoid muckin around with an already complicated electrical system.
Gooday mate.
This link is related to Nissan, but there may be some clues in it for the V-Dub as well.

Great, hopefully that is a permanent fix.
My OP light seems to have a mind of it's own and goes on and off intermittently.
I'll replace the switch and see what happens but do let us know if you...
Gooday mate
I had the oil light come on on my BJK and as yet I haven't got it sorted out.
Same as you, my oil level was fine.
There are apparently 2 oil switches on these engines, a std pressure...
Ripper, good to hear of a successful result. Thanks for passing on your actions that fixed the fault, I'm sure others will find it helpful.😎
Gooday mate.
As per the 5th post in this thread, pumping the brakes may re-activate the hill-holder mode.
Hill Hold Assist - can it be turned on/off?
Great to get a quick fix on that
Just for future reference...did they tell you what the P1063 and P0087 error codes actually were ?
What was the actual fault found ?
Gooday mate.
Not a silly question, but not a lot of activity here at times.
Let's see if some new posts bring a result for you.
I can't help I'm afraid.......:(
Just had a quick Google, it may...
Gooday chaps.
I had the dash out of my 09 Crafter 35 yesterday to fix a broken '0' button so I could adjust the clock.
All good and back together, but I'd rather have a 12hr clock instead of the...
Mine is a 2009
Thanks chaps, your comments lead to further reading.
This is an earlier link from here that I found concerning 504.00/507.00 oils.

I'm about to do an oil and filter change and was wondering what Diesel oil others use here in Oz.
I think I might've found the 'hum'.
This vehicle is a motorhome with an auxiliary battery fitted under the left seat.
I think the hum may have been the dc/dc charger for that battery.
The...
Air/con was not on, and by auxiliary water pump.... do you mean the pump in the motor home area ?
That is run from a separate battery.
There is of course the genuine pump , but I'd guess most pumps, both OEM and after-market would be produced by only a handful of companies.
Gates, Delco, Protex, SIL, Bosch and others are probably...
Further to this possible battery drain............
There is a very slight vibration sensation from the centre dash area around the radio/heater control area.
It feels like a gentle fan running...
Got into the van this morning to move it and the key refused to turn.
I figured the most likely was steering lock jammed........wiggled and waggled the stg wheel and made no difference.
Then had...
