Your best bet is to go a basic Stage 2. Get an IS38 fitted and a matching tune. Leave everything else as is. You'll be amazed at how snappy the car becomes.

Having carried both the Tiguan and Golf R muffler they're definitely a heavy weight. The Golf R is heavier, probably around 14-16kg, the Tiguan around 10-12kg.

A stage 2/2+ tune and matching DSG tune is the way to go.
