This makes sense - there were a lot of people wanting the Highline + DAP, but the wait time was long as dealers weren't bringing in much stock of this config - most people were going fully loaded.

Low speed jerky-ness is typical of the DSG.
It's one of the many comments made when comparing DSG to conventional auto or other auto transmission types.
Interestingly though if you trawl the Audi forums you will find people that have had problems.....no manufacturer can build 100% faultless cars consistently.
How's Waze in Australia?
Waze (and even Google Maps) would be a great alternative via CarPlay to get realtime traffic information.
Shame it can't be displayed on the active display.
Wonder how well it works compared to the Matrix LED array that Audi use?
Should've asked the dealer - I was in over the weekend and they had said for a fully loaded the next shipment would be October, but, "you would get a MY19 model"
I didn't ask further as I know...
Highline 162TSI + DAP + Sunroof + RLine + Indium Grey
Just got a commercial/fleet quote for a fully loaded 162 - $57.5k
Just noticed that a few dealers are listing the fully loaded as $59,990 - maybe some discounting with the MY19 newly released?
Looks great!
Keen to know how long these coatings last for? Many of them offer lifetime warranties which seems to imply they last a long time, but I always thought it was a hard-wearing...
Actually, on looking back through some of the posts I've realised that some of the cheaper quotes listed were without sunroof which would bump the price up again, so looks like the quotes are okay.
...
I can source the quote myself and just forward through to our fleet company to set up the payments etc, but the issue is the dealers will only talk pricing with their commercial fleet managers as the...
Has anyone had luck negotiating with the commercial fleet managers?
I've been getting quotes back around $58k for commercial/fleet pricing, but I've seen prices around that are slightly better for...
+1 would be good to know if this is isolated to a batch or build date
Hi,
I've been researching upgrading my head unit in my '06 Golf.
I've come across the need to upgrade the CANBUS to fix the power drain issue with the RC510.
Is there anyone in Melbourne...
Just had my car detailed and after I noticed a rattle from the drivers side door that I'm sure wasn't there before.
What are the chances that due to the auto-locking feature (therefore requiring...
On the drivers side door there's the little red LED that blinks when the car is looked (immobilised).
When the car is unlocked this light stops blinking.
A couple of times now when I've...
yeah....tried flicking the switch on and off multiple times....no light comes on in the cluster.
Reading around it seems that a faulty switch/stalk is fairly common...might have to get that looked...
Oh okay...mine is the DSG, so maybe it is okay after all.......I can start the engine, but can't move it out of 'P' until I engage the brake.
just have to work out why the cruise control doesn't...
Hi all,
I'm pretty sure that if you don't have the brake pedal pressed in, the car shouldn't allow you to start the engine???
On my TDI, I can start the engine without my foot on the brake....
Anyone able to recommend a good mobile detailer (also open to non-mobile detailers if they are good too)??
I've got some light scratches on the drivers front and rear side doors (I think the...
too true.....quite possible it was just a once of thing, who knows.
Either way...thanks heaps for the replies and support!!
got no idea what it was.
I took it out for a drive today somewhere and on the way there and back I tried to replicate the 'clicking' noise I heard and felt the two times before. No matter what I...
It's more of a 'click' than a 'clunk'. It's not violent or jerky at all. The car keeps going on as smoothly as before.
Actually, if it been doing it since I'd taken the car over and it was across...
oh okay....that could be possible. The gearbox oil was changed at the 60,000km service (now at 71,000km) and it's been fine since then, but I guess it doesn't hurt to maybe flush it again.
The...
