I haven’t taken any photos yet but I have had a play with them at night. They aren’t much brighter than the stock globes so I don’t think you will have any issues blinding oncoming drivings. If you...
Just reporting back that the Philips globes (Ultinon Essential Dual CCT UE fog light bulb 11366UEDX2 | Philips) work without any errors. The yellow in particular looks really good, but will need to...
Sweet. Thanks!
I know there's probably a thread on this already, but I searched and couldn't find something, so posting.
I'm keen to replace the halogen globes in the fog lights with something brighter.
I...
Thanks. I saw them and thought the same thing. The auto electrician I spoke to the other day said since I have halogens that wasn’t needed, but to look for a piggyback adapter.
I think I’m going...

Hi everyone. Does anyone know if there is a highbeam splitter / piggyback adapter available for the gen 2 Tiguan?

No worries. Lots of All Terrain options at 225/65r17 so glad it fits. From the looks of it, there might be strut tower clearance issues if trying to go any bigger.
So far I’m liking the Pirellis....
Ah yes, you are correct, both tyres are 65's... I'll update the previous post so it's correct
I have a 132 Comfortline which has stock 215/65r17 wheels.
Recently needed new tyres so put on some Pirelli Scorpion AT+ 225/65r17. Tyres fit fine with no rubbing issues.
Thought I’d share in...
Gold! Thanks 😊
Awesome. I’ll have to do some research. Not going to be doing this soon though. Thanks
They also have this but I can’t tell by the pics how it mounts or how solid it would be

Wanted to resurrect this thread to see if anyone has tuned a CZPA Tig yet?
Looks like there are options from JB4 and APR around. Has anyone tried any? Are they worth it if everything else is stock?
The standard recommendation for the Tiguan was 127cm (50").
I went one size down. Recommendation for a Tiguan is 50” and I used 47”. It was tight at the front and couldn’t have gone any smaller.
Thanks!
I just mounted up the same 47” bars. Was a great tip!
One thing that I didn’t realise before is how much the roof rails angle in. The cross bars barely fit at the front, I had to put...
Actually I just spoke to a roof rack store and they said that Thule warranty one size down and one size up from the recommendation so I sized down as well 😊
I like the shorter bars @smarty! Looks awesome. Do you think they would effect the load rating of the rack?
Thinking a light bar, also worried about weight
Think it's just Halogens. It's a 132tsi Comfortline
Thanks. There seems to be number plate mounts available locally, so I think I'll go and talk to an installer / 4wd shop.

Thanks! More reading to do I guess.
