I think Lane Assist only works over 65kmh even if you've got TJA/ACC. TJA will control speed right down to stopped.
Popped up in our MY18 a little while ago. Booked in by the dealer for next Wednesday.
Finally got my **** together and did the following yesterday with my VCDS cable thanks to this thread:
- TMC enabled
- Gauge sweep enabled
- Nag screen disabled
- Beep when lock/unlock enabled...
162TSI that only sees BP 98 RON in Melbourne here.
I wrote about our experience in the thread you mentioned - car was a week and a half and under 1000km old when my wife got hit doing a legal u-turn. Another driver was coming onto the road from a...
We didn't get them - although to be honest I didn't think about it either. Personally I'd be more inclined to get some paint protection film than mudflaps. If you lived outside a major city and were...
Have a look at my thread in here on my Easter road trip for my thoughts on Adaptive Chassis Control.
TLDR: It's awesome - you should get it!
Curious - how does an engine mount change throttle response?
Happy to help! We bought ours sight unseen somewhat - we saw a pre-delivery RLine out back of the dealer but couldn't even sit in it, drove a Highline w/DAP and a different Highline w/162TSi.
Hey dptiggie - happy to share my thoughts! TLDR - Get the RLine! It looks classy and I'm still impressed with the adaptive chassis. Definitely get DAP and (imho) the sunroof too.
I bought some...
I dare someone to tell their wife they've turned it on so they can provide real-time coaching :)
I got a BlackVue DR750S 2CH installed when I picked our Tiguan up. Works great - need to set up the cloud stuff still though.
My last post was about our car being crashed into with around 1000km on the clock - happy to say we've had it back for about 4 weeks now and you can't tell at all. Brand new rear bumper/trim at the...
Always run 98 in my FGX XR8 Falcon and in the wife's Tiguan. I prefer BP Ultimate but I couldn't put anything remotely scientific behind why.
Does everyone who enables TMC with OBD11/VCDS in Australia end up with the TP error that the OP noticed? Is the error an intermittent thing or a constant error because there's no TP in Australia?
That is so cool!
My experience so far is that when your week and a half old Tiguan gets hit by a driver who decides to not give way it gets expensive quick and your wife is very upset about her new car being damaged....
Very weird for a SatNav to take you onto unnamed roads! I'd be asking VW about that for sure as that's totally a safety issue - someone could get stranded somewhere!
I think the tyre is on you...
Awesome - you'll love it! I wasn't a fan of the colour (wife's car, her choice) but it's grown on me and I think it looks different on the road.
Tiguan picked up and all great apart from the rear sensor which they told us about - being fixed Monday!
I haven't driven it yet but the wife is in love after driving it home across Melbourne in...
Today is D-Day (Delivery Day!) - picking up the wife's Tiguan this afternoon.
Dealer told us there's an issue with a parking sensor - the part is ordered but won't be in today. We decided to pick...
I'm waiting on delivery of our new Tiggy this week (fingers crossed!) and have my VCDS ready to go! Can't wait!
Have a look through the VCDS Tweaks thread in this forum for all the stuff you can...
I hope you didn't break the new car already?
After asking the dealer a couple of times I never got the VIN or other information so I could track it. I got a 'we have had some problems with our system lately' excuses. So I'm not sure what ship...
