So,

I did some dumb stuff, and pulled out some fuses in the underhood fuse box, dropped one inside the engine bay, replaced it with a spare fuse, have absolutely no recollection whether I did...

Actually, you're right - AA/CP take it from the phone, but the clock on the head unit should be synced with the instrument cluster.

I've tried resetting/rebooting it, also tried changing the time...

Aside from everything else being perfect on my MIB2 retrofit, the clock on the unit no longer syncs with my phone - it's now always displaying 12:00, with occasional flashes of 6:28.

The black plugs are identical, save the writing and the empty plug in one of them, so I know it's something...

So, I picked up an adapter harness to switch from the earlier model PDC to the newer one... Any idea why one plug on the adapter cable has an empty plug in it, with some nonsensical chinese writing...

I did try coding the camera on the weekend and got a blank screen, but no OPS when going out of reverse - maybe I should just drop that idea... Shoot me a PM with a price, and I'll buy the PCD module...

No luck with the 7N0 Gateway and original PDC, so it looks like I might need to upgrade to the 1k8 PDC. Hopefully this also works with the 3C8 Gateway - I'd rather give up the OPS display than have...
