Yes same part no.
Funny thing was they said "your car is ONE day out of warranty......but as a good will gesture we'll replace them", but I did report the issue the previous week when I booked it...
Not sure if this issue is notorious or not but I just had both electric tailgate struts replaced under warranty, when opening and closing they sounded like a cheap diesel, they should just pur...
If I use auto hold, I turn off stop/start at the same time, you can do that with a 206, not sure about other cars.
If you have obd11 or similar I recommend trying setting the auto hold to early...
Just had a look, it's a Delkor, the tech said it had a three year warranty through VW assist.
All my individual settings were retained as if the battery had never been disconnected.
No they didnt replace it.
I wasn't that concerned that they didnt but now at least it's on record that it was looked at as a result of a VW Assist call out.
The tech measured 13.3, the dealer...
Not surprisingly they found nothing wrong.
Arrived home today after a few weeks overseas to find my battery pretty much dead.
I rang VW Assist and told them my story and within 40 mins the tech arrived, inspected and advised that the...
Interesting topic, I never thought you would be able to get additional cover on a wearing item like a clutch which to me seems like a consumable item much like brake pads and wiper blades.
Other...
I got the impression it was just the handle but I really don't know how much they replaced.
I had exactly the same thing happen to mine, it was fixed under warranty no questions asked, it took a few days to get the part from Melbourne up to Sydney though.
Well...my car will be in for a minor warranty issue soon and I've asked for the map update at the same time, we'll see what happens.
I had my car's first service recently.
When i picked it up I asked if the maps were updated as part of the service.
He said no, i said but it's a free update, he said yes but you have to ask for...
Ok thanks, my previous golf had the maps on a card already in the slot.
Can this be done on the 206tsi?
I don't think the 206 uses an SD card, I looked for one and it looks like an empty slot.
I have mine disabled, this is one thing I want to be able to do manually when I think it's required.
I'll post a vote for Fivedock VW although they are now at Leichhardt. My son bought a Polo from them too, same positive experience.
Ok, i thought the diesels would be more popular, most cars here seem to be but I didn't realise the 206 wasn't even available.
I heard that in a few years time, diesels will be banned from some...
I'm in Germany at the moment on holiday and I've not seen one 206 either sedan or wagon, the last one I saw was in Czech Republic of all places two weeks ago, the home of Skoda.
Admittedly I...
Arteon should have the Audi 2.5l five cylinder engine from the hot TT, that would be a real cracker!
Somehow my question about the auto tailgate was deleted....never mind.
Just looked at the specs and yes it says auto tailgate not fitted on the rline.🤐
Wow, did they say a towbar wasn't an option on the wagon?
Looks great btw!
Just checked ours again, $585 through Aust Post.
2 drivers only, both over 40 with max ncd preserved.
No windscreen cover though.
It cost me about the same to insure this car for twice the value...
Try Auto and General through Australia Post. Mine was around 700 from memory.
Nothing to lose by trying.
Yeah i agree with the guzzle, around Sydney with normal driving I'll see 10-12 l/100 but motorway with no stop start it's quite the opposite.😊
