Is there a fuel pump in the tank as well as the high pressure one on the engine?

what’s involved in the 120k service?

I don’t see how stopping the flow of the egr can effect the dpf temp, unless you’re only doing short trips all the time and the engines not getting hot enough

What problems do you see occurring with this emulator?

The tafmet emulator I got the other day is plug and play, and good quality by the looks. Besides taking longer to warm up it’s actually using less fuel too, so I’m gonna run it without a dpf delete...

No idea but a simple test with a multimeter might do it alternating between lights on and off..

It’s the C type, the one meant to go bad. Apparently the emulator doesn’t screw with dpf regeneration or at least that’s what I was told by the maker of them.

ive ordered an egr emulator that tricks the ecu into thinking it’s still there but actually it’s blocked off, I guess I’ll see what happens

Im trying to work out how the known bad EGR valves let aluminium particles into the engine that causes wear.
Will blocking a bad one stop this (the dry side) or does it happen on the wet oil side...

Can confirm not buying the entire new control arm like VW will suggest. Buy the bushes and get a mechanic to press them in.

What oil filter setup did you move to after removing the original egr?

Besides cleaning the egr, does anyone do a delete kit for it? I’d ideally ditch that and the dpf altogether...
