If you have VW Assist, you’ll most likely get it replaced for free.
I think you’ll find there’s a mix of opinions on the hatch as well.
Personally, I think res delete sounds rubbish and there’s too much drone, but if you want to do it, just do it. It’s cheap and...
Hope you find something. The current orientation is straight up dumb. Pulling back to shift up should be the default everywhere.
I’ve seen exactly the same thing on a mk7. Judging by the myriad of feedback on Facebook, I think it’s just a CTS thing
I could be wrong here, but I believe you’d also be going from a 8” wide wheel to a 7.5” wide wheel. Doesn’t seem worth it to me.
Can you show us the photos?
Also, just a heads up - stop/start is on the 7 as well
True, but I just wanted something cheap and tough to get me started so I wouldn’t have to care about hitting ripple strips, etc.
I’ll get something light one day

I used to think Cadiz were heavy, until I bought these as cheapo track bashers
Finally got the chance to get these set up and cleaned.
Loving the dish on the rears

I may need bigger rotors just to fill the enormous void they seem to create...haha
I’m getting them re-drilled now so I don’t have to worry about wobble bolts. Then it’ll be tyre change and...
Managed to pick up a set of TSW Mechanica’s rather cheaply.
This is just a test fit, as I’ll need to have the tyres swapped over (275s are a tad bit too much width), but overall I’m quite happy.

Where are you getting 97 from? I can't say I've ever seen it.
Personally I wouldn't use anything but 98. I've only ever had to use 95 once, and that was in country NSW with no other options
Thanks. I'd noticed the VMR's but didn't know much about them. I haven't found any with the right fitment in Australia, but I assume they'd be easy enough to order in.
What centre bore should I be...

Do these have a name other than 'RS4 wheels'?
I love the look of them, but at 19x9 with an...

I know nothing about these wheels, but I saw them elsewhere and liked the look
Thanks Don! I'll try tonight
Hi, I've been trying to search this but I'm getting too many results and I'm finding it difficult to filter through all of them.
Would anyone here happen to have the coding handy to have the full...

I've PM'd you
Paul at Mullerhaus, Strathfield. I haven't been myself, as it's not near me, but I know plenty of people who vouch for him.
Thanks! I'll have a look at the ones you've suggested and keep my eye out
I'm interested in having a second set of wheels purely for occasional track use for my MK7 R.
If you were looking for some relatively inexpensive, fairly lightweight, but durable wheels, what would...
