It's not an issue, Mine does the same. Pretty sure most modern VW's do it.

These are 19's, I reckon they are the perfect size.

The noise seems to have mostly gone funnily enough, I hear it every now and then but nowhere near as loud as it was and a heap less frequent. Car has about 4500 K's on it now so fingers crossed it...

Could be the flywheel, but you would think after having the box out twice and then also a third time to replace it they would have checked it out.

Nope. Haven't taken it back there yet lol. They have replaced all of the above and it still does it from time to time.

You would want to lower it on 19's, as at stock height it will look a bit silly. Plenty of Jetta in the states run 19's and it looks fine as long as the car is sitting ok.

So since the day i picked up my Manual TSi Jetta new from the dealer it has made a strange noise when in N at idle, Almost like a slapping/rattle noise that disappears as soon as you put the clutch...

They applied the update to mine and i haven't had the issue since either.

Hmmmmm, Im looking to finish off my stereo in my 15 jetta, This has me tempted though lol.

I watched a video on YouTube that showed you how to replace them all. It was by a workshop in the states I think.
