I'll do this just because it's cool, and my lights dim out quite often here in Seattle because it's always cloudy. The right amount of clouds and the dash lights turn off... Gets annoying!

This is what I finally came up with. This aligns the 10,000 mile/1 year service with the service indicator and adding an oil change every 5,000 miles/250 days instead of 10,000/365 days.

Yep...you are correct Don, thanks I've aligned them now so my oil change is set for 5,000 miles and 250 days, and I have an inspection/service at 10,000 miles 365 days.

I just did this today... Slight difference in how some others were able to manipulate it.

Well everything is finally fixed. VWoA talked the techs through "setting the parameters" for the new part and now everything works perfect. I pulled a new channel map after they did all the work...

Well this sucks... They replaced the infotainment module... The SD card port works now, but no bluetooth, phone stuff, MDI function, or voice control. The dealer couldn't figure out why and said...

Let me clarify...no faults because there were communication issues with the infotainment module. No stored codes because it's not communicating properly...will know more tomorrow when they swap it...

The old mk4s would drink so much oil it was ridiculous . Every other VW I've owned never required oil between oil changes.
