I've got the same sound on a mk7 TSI, never bothered to get it checked... can't be anything too serious can it?

I had the same issue on the rear left door, it was just the rubber lining rubbing on the car so I simply pushed it up so that it would no longer rub :P
Depends on how much you want to lower it. VWR springs should do the job and don't ruin your stock shocks.
Hey guys,
I'm looking for a set of mk7 GTI springs and/or shocks for my mk7 TSI.
Happy to pay shipping etc.

I am looking to lower my mk7 TSI a little bit (to remove the 4WD look), has anyone installed VWR springs on stock mk7 shocks? I heard the VWR springs will not ruin the stock shocks? Also, roughly how...
Damn, thats actually not too bad. Looks great man!
Yeah, I think I'll go with gunmetal! Not sure if the RSe12's are matte or satin finish, but thanks for the tip.. will have to clean them regularly (especially with the brake pad dust on VWs :()
Yeah was looking at bronze after seeing this pic, that mk5 gti looks tungsten silver-ish.
Just looking for some external opinions on which wheel finish to go for.
The car is tungsten silver and I am deciding between black or gunmetal Neuspeed Rse12's.
Hmm, very tempting! Might look into this in the future..
Sorry to bring up an old post but how would one go about getting that set-up on a mk7 tsi?
Yeah, being electric it would makes sense for it to check if the car is in motion before activating fully.
Thanks for the feedback/help everyone
Ahh okay, so what happens when its pressed quickly (like he did). The car did jolt but didnt come to a stop, would it have been partially activated?
Whilst driving through the city today, my 13 yr old nephew (who was sitting in the front seat, bad idea...) pressed the EPB button (out of curiosity, without asking what the button does... grr)...
Just looked through your post, really helpful stuff there, thanks!
Hmm yeah, thanks for the help
Ahh that's it! I didn't put my seatbelt back on because I was just going up the driveway (we have long driveways here :) )
Thanks for your help, been stressing about it (clearly for no good reason)

what do you mean by parameters were off? Also, I called the dealer and they said theres nothing to worry about, just a safety mechanism?
hmm, will check tyres... thanks for your help!
Hey guys,
Just had a message appear in the MFD after stopping the car on a slight hill (not sure if that's relevant). The message appeared after stopping for a minute and then attempting to...
Don't know too much about tyres/wheel fitment yet so I was wondering if 17" alloys will fit on the stock Continentals that come on the 2014 mk7 Golf?
Was looking at 18" alloys but if getting 17"s...
Ah awesome, thanks!
