Hi guys,
Have gotten around to tackling the coding problems with my Golf GT TDI this weekend and thought I'd ask if anyone knows anything about the following faults:

Hey mate, the car is still stock mechanically.
I don't really plan on any performance upgrades, as it's a diesel and there's not much potential. Besides I also put a lot of kilometres on it. Nearly...
If you are trying to swap the front badge, all you have to do is push and twist. Have you also considered Plasti-Dip? Great alternative to swapping the badges and if you change your mind you can just...
So it's been a while since I last updated this thread. I ended up having a bit of a bingle and the whole front mask was replaced, meaning the annoying Euro plate holder was put back on (stock).
The...

I got a set with tyres 90% tread mate, however they're on the car at the moment, as I'm painting my new set. PM me for more info if you're interested
Thank you guys! Hope to do some more stuff soon!
It has definitely been a while since I've had a chance to work on my car, so after about 2-3 months I decided to get out the tools last night.
Earlier in the thread I mentioned replacing the DSG...

I have a GT TDI as well, and I must say this car is an inspiration! Benny for the work you need to do to actually retrofit an aux input you may as well upgrade your head unit to an RCD510

So it's been a while since I've updated this thread, and you could say there have been a few changes to my car !
Firstly, the bluetooth has been sorted out. I ended up purchasing a new harness...
why don't you just try and find some GTI coilovers off a wrecked GTI?
I got a TDI for my first car mate, and I love it ! I agree they do have some common issues but if you are lucky to find a car with fairly low kms (mine had 87,000 when i first bought it, practically...
Will do cheers mate
Do you think I'd be able to buy just the pin separately in case I broke anything or do I need the whole mechanism ?
I've recently purchased a replacement DSG shifter that would normally fit a GTI/R32 Golf for my GT Sport which has a normal DSG shifter (worn out needs replacement). Has anybody done this conversion...
You'll probably need to get the rotors machined or polished mate
Try going to a wrecker mate, you might find what you need or you might find even better a leather panel :)
I don't have the wiring harness I just bought the module :( I thought the harness that's used for the bt kit I have in the car now would work with the 9W7 but looks like not..
My microphone runs like that, I'll probably keep it that way. I just need a harness for the 9W7 module I got. Probably need to code it too..
Can anybody confirm this actually works? I have a 9W7 kit but I haven't installed it yet
I'd rather do that if it's going to save space, did you mount it with 2 sided tape?
Any idea on how to sort out a harness as well?
