just found one in Australia on EBay as well... Searched ....viscous coupling .... & it came up

No pics at the moment, a lot of plate forks bent, housing also broken, apparently it unwound itself ! Sprayed its insides all over the rear end underneath !

Saw the removed coupling yesterday......that one won't be getting a rebuild.....what a mess :facepalm:

Turned out to be the viscous coupling, my mechanic mate managed to source a good 2nd hand one , as an exchange one from VAG is $5800 !!!!!
