57000km out of that set, with a lot more city driving.
Now replaced with ContiEcoContact 6s ($355ea)

Hi all,
Any news or updates on the Aus arrival of the Hybrid Touraeg R? Any real world experience from overseas?
TIA.
So did you buy it?
Great video, thanks.
Will be interesting to see what spec / options come to Australia.
So after 60,000km the OE Goodyears are done.
Have replaced them with...... the same.

Looks good!
Is there any visible ride height difference?
I don't hesitate to recommend Melbourne Auto Body in South Melbourne.

Thanks all.
No brake shudder at all.
Other than inconvenience (of having to go back to dealership again), is there any drawback to just waiting for the sensor light to show?
At the 45000 service some months ago our MY14 180TDI was "recommended" to have brakes done - despite no indicator coming on, and no issue with brake performance. It was suggested i might last a...

Thanks.
Thanks all.

Also thoughts on the GTI for a return daily 150km commute (approx 125km of this is freeway/100kph).
Cheers in advance.
Thanks all, interesting discussion.
Maybe now there's a "fix" they can re-consider!
Thanks interesting piece of info.
There's no urgency so perhaps waiting for this is an option.
Thanks all, very interesting.
My parents are thinking of replacing their 4yo X1 Xdrive 20d. They'd prefer to stay with diesel (95% certain).
New X1 has obviously been considered. I suggested...
With the diesel Tiguan not currently on sale, what would you buy instead?
I'm sure 99% will say "a petrol Tiguan" so let's exclude that and assume "it has to be diesel" and "similar" size....
Sounding good.
Our 2013 going well with only 30000 on the do.
Diesel ultimate has "typical" cetane of 52, minimum of 46.
