You sure?
Au price: $53,100
UK price: £33,510 ($59,468 )
And that's before we look at spec.
Prices released today - $53,100 base price with $1500 Sound & Vision & $3800 Luxury packs & a $300 paint option for red. So $58,700 plus on roads. $64k isn't too far off.
So you're not accepting offers of $50 and half a button?
2010 GTI manual and I've passed 226,000km on the original clutch.
Had to have both the inlet manifold and water pump replaced at the same time. That was at about 150,000ish? (I don't specifically...
I'm not that bothered, actually, as when on country roads I used to turn them on anyway and most of my driving is to and from work so there's often evening driving so again the lights are on. So far...
I doubt that, especially considering if you have DRLs on a non-xenon vehicle you can disable them yourself.
Not a new problem. The DRLs are actually the headlights (as opposed to a separate bulb/s) but the process to turn the DRLs off doesn't work so they stay on all the time. So either VCDS to turn the...
I've still got mine. 162,000kms young.
Mine hasn't done the scenario described. If I'm off throttle it tends to not suggest a different gear to the one I'm in.
I had something similar on my Mk5 GTI where the solution was a throttle sensor. Might be different, though, as it appeared more like a "normal" sticking throttle.
They're still doing that on the MkVII? I know it's a very minor thing but I do find it annoying.
When buying my Mk6, had one dealer tell me "no discounts" then when they called on an update and I mentioned I got it cheaper elsewhere, they said they would have done a deal. Same salesperson and...
Which is great unless you want a manual GTI with bi-xenons.
VW have been shooting themselves in the foot for a long time then as it's about the same price as they've been charging for a while.
If I didn't know better, I'd think that VW were actively trying to get me to buy an Audi S3. I don't want 19" wheels but I do want MDI.
Asking the obvious but have you tried in the manual? In the Mk6 there was a procedure listed in there.
Blue Mk7 Golf R on Lane Cove Rd, Macquarie Park late this afternoon.
Saw a blue R this afternoon. Definitely obviously different on the road (even more so from behind with the better taillights).
Space savers aren't the death traps some would have you believe. Yes, it is generally recommended not to fit it to a driving wheel (obviously impossible on a 4WD car). But the main thing to...
9s quicker than the Mk6 R
1s quicker than a BMW 1M Coupe
And the same pace as a 10 year old Porsche 911.
Not exactly hanging around :)
Considering the GTI is thousands of dollars cheaper than the A250, I'd expect an A45 equivalent Golf to be similarly cheaper - let's call it a $70k car, not 80-90.
If/when there is an Australian recall, it will appear here - Volkswagen
Seriously? If there was a run of "blackouts" on overseas Mk7s then I'd understand the question but this is a different beast.
I upgraded to bi-xenons on my Mk6 after woeful Mk5 headlights (which were made to look worse having moved from brilliant Toyota lights). Haven't looked back since and don't want a car without them....
