So base on this, it looks like thegolf R will be about 60k. Hmmmm an Audi s3 from 59kor a M135 from 65k would be a much better buy!
Most importantly is that the aus R will be detuned to 206kws

Some one commented that they have seen the spec of the S3 , and the power figure is 209kw due to our hot climate.:(
The thing is, with the new GTI, we don't even know whether it's going to de-tuned for the AUS market. All info so far is based from the oversea specs.
Also I'll be more than happy to buy a A250...

the uk Golf R has more power and torque than ours, that's probably the reason y. for me the in gear acceleration is disappointing.
